What Innopay Money does — and doesn’t

  • We show the lenders’ listings, take your application details and pass them to the lender you choose.
  • We do not lend, approve loans, set rates or hold your loan money.
  • The lender sends you its Key Fact Statement and loan agreement, and disburses to your bank account. Repayments go to the lender.

How to check any loan app or lender

  1. Find the lender’s name. Every offer must name the regulated lender. Search that name on the Reserve Bank of India website (rbi.org.in), which publishes the list of registered NBFCs. RBI regulates lenders — an app is not itself “RBI-registered”.
  2. Check the link between app and lender. Regulated lenders list the platforms and apps they work with on their own websites; the app you use should appear there.
  3. Read the Key Fact Statement before accepting: APR, every charge, the repayment schedule and the cooling-off period in which you can exit the loan.
  4. Never pay upfront to “unlock” a loan, and never share your OTP with anyone.
  5. Watch the permissions. A lending app should not need your contacts or photo gallery.
  6. Know where to complain. Use our grievance redressal process or the lender’s. If the lender rejects your complaint, its reply doesn’t satisfy you, or there is no reply within 30 days, you can complain against the lender to the RBI Ombudsman at cms.rbi.org.in.

Create an account with your mobile number, pick an amount and see what our partner lenders offer. The lender decides approval.

Frequently asked questions

Who will I be borrowing from?

From the lender named on your offer and in your Key Fact Statement — one of the partners listed on this page. Innopay Money is the platform (Lending Service Provider); it does not lend.

How can I check that a lender is regulated?

Your offer, Key Fact Statement and loan agreement name the lender. Search that name on the Reserve Bank of India website (rbi.org.in), which publishes the lists of registered NBFCs, and check that the lender's own website lists the app or platform you are using among its lending service providers or digital lending apps. RBI regulates lenders; an app is not itself "RBI-registered".

Where do I complain if something goes wrong?

Contact our Grievance Redressal Officer (details on the Grievance Redressal page) or the lender's own grievance officer. If the lender rejects your complaint, you are not satisfied with its reply, or you get no reply within 30 days, you can complain against the lender to the RBI Ombudsman through cms.rbi.org.in.
