Personal loan for salaried employees

If your salary is credited to a bank account every month, that regular credit is what lenders lean on most. 4 of 5 lenders on Innopay Money accept salaried applicants, at listed rates of 12% to 36% a year.

What lenders check when you are salaried

  • Salary credits — how much arrives in your account each month and how regularly.
  • Your job — who you work for and how long you have been there.
  • Existing EMIs and card dues — how much of your salary is already committed.
  • Credit history — whether past loans and cards were repaid on time.

3 lenders set a minimum monthly income (₹15,000 to ₹25,000); 2 publish none. Age limits run from 18 to 59 years across lenders.

Lender rules as listed on 4 Nov 2026; each lender can change them.

Documents to keep ready

  • PAN and Aadhaar (or another KYC document the lender accepts).
  • Recent salary slips — commonly the last three months.
  • Bank statement of the salary account — commonly the last six months.
  • If you changed jobs recently, your offer or appointment letter.

Many lenders verify salary directly from your bank account during the application, so you may not need to upload everything.

No salary slips, or a new job?

Some employers do not issue slips. Lenders can often read the monthly salary credit in your bank statement instead — ask during the application. If you joined recently or are on probation, expect a smaller amount at first: lenders like to see a few months of salary in the account.

How big an EMI makes sense

A simple check: add the new EMI to the EMIs you already pay; if the total is more than about a third of your take-home pay, consider a smaller amount or a longer tenure. Try amounts in the EMI calculator, or see worked examples for ₹1 lakh and ₹5 lakh.

Frequently asked questions

Can I get a personal loan without salary slips?

Often, yes. Many lenders can read your monthly salary credit from your bank statement instead. Ask during the application which proof the lender accepts.

I just joined a new job. Can I apply?

You can apply, but lenders like to see a few months of salary in your account, so a smaller amount at first is more likely. Your offer or appointment letter can help.

Does my employer matter?

It can. Lenders consider the stability of your employment, which includes who you work for and how long you have been there.
