What you do in the app
- Choose the amount you need and see the offers whose listed terms fit it.
- Complete the lender’s steps, including identity verification (KYC).
- Read the Key Fact Statement — amount, rate, every fee, the APR and the EMI schedule — before you accept.
- Follow your application and, once you have a loan, see your repayment schedule in the app.
Not sure loans are offered where you live? Check your pincode first — it needs no personal details.
How to tell if a loan app is genuine
- The lender is named. Your offer and Key Fact Statement name the RBI-regulated lender; you can look that name up on the Reserve Bank of India’s website.
- No payment to get approved. Be wary of any app, caller or agent asking for money to approve or “release” a loan; a genuine loan’s charges are in the lender’s KFS.
- No access to your contacts or photos. RBI’s digital lending rules bar lending apps from reading your contact list, call logs, photos and files; only a one-time access to the camera, microphone or location may be taken for onboarding or KYC, with your explicit consent.
- A Key Fact Statement before you accept, with the APR and every charge.
- A grievance officer you can reach — ours is on the grievance redressal page.
